Kids Baking Classes for April 2025 School Holidays

Have fun and enjoy our kids baking classes these school holidays! 

We have put together two different classes for the Kids to learn to bake some Easter and Anzac Day treats! 

Class One - Creme Egg Cookies and Caramel Anzac Muffins 

• Monday 14th April 9am till 11am 
• Wednesday 23rd April 9am till 11am

Class Two - Maple Anzac Cookies and Creme Egg Brownie

• Tuesday 15th April 9am till 11am
• Thursday 24th April 9am till 11am

They will be taught both items in one class, so only book one class type session per child on the day and time that suits. 

As classes become full, new dates will be added, so keep checking back or like us on Facebook or Instagram to keep up to date.

There are 8 spaces available for each lesson, which is strictly for 5+ years. Please make sure your child is able to listen and follow instructions before booking them into a class.

All the ingredients and equipment will be provided during the session. We will provide an apron for their use during the class, and a juice box for them to enjoy!

We are located at 5/3034 Great North Road, New Lynn, Auckland, 0600. There is limited parking. Lynn Mall shopping centre is across the road, perfect to drop the kids off and go and enjoy some peaceful shopping! 

What your child will learn

• How to make some kiwi baked classic items
• How to work cleanly and hygienically in the kitchen

What you will get

• Take home your kids delicious baking treats
• Recipe card of what has been made in the class

On the day

• Please wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes
• Bring a can-do attitude!
• Water bottle to stay hydrated

Please note that parents/caregivers are welcome to settle their child/ren for 5 minutes and we request that you return 10 minutes before the class end. Parents/caregivers are also welcome to stay during the class if they would prefer, but are to not interfere with the teachings.

We are unable to cater for alternate dietary requirements. All our recipes use dairy, egg, wheat and gluten. We are happy to send the ingredients list for any class if you would like to check anything. 

Full payment is needed prior to the date of class to confirm spot.

Private group bookings of 8 kids are available at a discounted rate of $40/Child. Please email us sweetaschoicebakery@gmail.com to enquire, and can book these at a time and date that is appropriate!  

Cancellation Policy
Due to ingredient and preparation costs incurred in advance of the class, cancellation of attendance must be made a minimum of 48 hours in advance or payment becomes non-refundable. No-shows or last minute cancellations are not refunded.
